COVID-19 CAUSES LONG TERM DAMAGE

Lawrenceville, NJ (Charles B Simone, M.MS., M.D.) – Patients recovering from even a mild case of COVID-19 may be at risk for myocarditis and long term consequences of cardiac dysfunction and other organ dysfunction.

Scientists at the Gladstone Institutes added SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) to human heart cells grown in lab dishes and found that the long muscle fibers that keep hearts beating were cut into short bits, similar to heart tissue from autopsies of Covid-19 patients. This damage could explain the lingering weakness in patients who recover from even a mild case of Covid-19 (https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.08.25.265561v1).

COVID-19 causes cardiac injury, inflammation, arrhythmias. After a median of 71 days, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging revealed cardiac involvement in 78 of 100 patients (78%) and ongoing myocardial inflammation in 60 of 100 patients (60%).  This was independent of comorbidities, duration/severity of infection, time since initial diagnosishttps://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamacardiology/fullarticle/2768916

Months (12-53 days) after recovering from COVID-19 that produced few symptoms and no hospitalization, 46% of 26 college athletes showed signs of heart inflammation by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. Other college athletes have shown the same.  Myocarditis is a significant cause of sudden cardiac death in competitive athletes.    https://www.the-scientist.com/news-opinion/college-athletes-experienced-heart-damage-after-covid-19-study-67929

“COVID brain” or “brain fog” is characterized by confusion, headaches, loss of short-term memory, and can lead to psychosis and even seizures. It happens weeks after someone first becomes sick with COVID-19. This is caused by inflammation.

COVID-19 can affect any organ via inflammation.

After speaking with your doctor, consider the three A’s:

1) ANTI-INFLAMMATORIES that may include any combination of: steroids, colchicine, certain vitamins like B6 (also has anti-thrombosis properties), omega 3 fatty acids (>60% of the weight of the softgel should be EPA + DHA, where EPA is much greater than DHA). Do not use ibuprofen (https://bit.ly/2J1YJW6).

2) ANTIOXIDANTS in moderate to high doses, in the correct doses, correct chemical form, and correct ratio of one to another – Consider ONCCOR https://bit.ly/3nuTHo6.

3) ALKALINE pH – a high alkaline pH is important. The function of the stomach is to digest food and liquid by secreting mainly hydrochloric acid.  So even though you may think that alkaline vegetables and expensive “alkaline water” will help you, they do not because of the powerful stomach hydrochloric acid.
